Registration for the 2019 summer session of Camp 42’s 3 locations opens January 2019. Kids must be at least 8 years old on the first day of camp to attend. Campers ages 16 and 17 are eligible to participate in our Leaders-in-Training (LT) program. To register for any of our three locations, click on the button at the top or bottom of this page.

The regular registration cost of each session is $600. Sibling discounts are available for each camper after the first registered camper from the same family. Early registration discounts are available, as indicated below, for each camper registered before the deadline. Discounts can be combined.

To register your camper, please complete the online registration form by the deadline below. The registration deadline for each location is below, but cabins fill early and we routinely go to a waitlist before the deadline. Please register early to ensure your camper’s spot.
We require a $100 non-refundable deposit with registration to reserve your camper’s spot. You may pay the entire balance or just the deposit during registration. You may choose to set up an automatic payment plan. If you prefer to pay by check or even electronically but not an an automatic payment plan, please select manual payment. To pay by check, please make the check payable to “Camp 42” and mail to:

All balances must be paid by the following deadlines. If full payment is not made by this date, campers may lose their place. If this happens, a refund will be issued, minus the non-refundable $100 registration deposit.

We require a physical form that must be signed by your child’s doctor. This form is available for download from your account once you’ve registered. you have 3 options to return the signed form.
- Email us a scanned .pdf to email@example.com. Please put the location and your camper’s name in the subject line.
- Mail it to us at Camp 42, PO Box 2643, Summerville, SC 29484. Please postmark no later than 2 weeks before the start of the relevant session of camp.
- Bring it on the first day of camp.
The health information form is an online form to collection information about your camper’s health history, allergies, medication, etc. It is not the same as the form signed by your child’s doctor. Because it contains information that we need to review in a timely manner in order to prepare ourselves to give your camper the best week of the summer, we require that this form is submitted 30 days before the start of your camp session.
Please note that we are implementing a new policy regarding the submission of this form. We will be charging $10 for health information forms that are not submitted by the deadline. Forms not submitted in time require a manual reset of the deadline, and the rounding up of these forms require additional time and effort from our volunteer staff.
If you would like to apply for financial aid, please complete the optional form from your account. Please not that your camper must be registered in order to access this form. We award aid on a case-by-case basis and will send out the first set of notifications of aid decisions around 3/115 and after that on an individual basis. The majority of our aid is granted in the first round, so please apply early. Please not the deadlines below regarding financial aid. This applies to all three locations.
- You must submit your financial aid application within 2 weeks of your registration.
- You must respond to Camp 42 within 2 weeks of receiving an offer. If Camp 42 does not receive a reply in that time, the offer will be rescinded and the monies allocated elsewhere.
- If Camp 42 is unable to satisfactorily meet a request and the above 2 conditions are met, C42 will refund your $100 deposit.
- The final deadline for financial aid applications is April 30, but only those received within 2 weeks of registration are eligible for a deposit refund.
Each camper receives one camp t-shirt with registration. You will have the option to purchase additional shirts for yourself, siblings, grandparents, etc. in the merchandise section of registration. Purchased shirts will be available for pickup at camper drop-off.
You will have the option to make a donation in increments of $25. All donations will go toward our campership fund, allowing kids who might not otherwise be able to have the opportunity to come to Camp 42.
For South Carolina and Florida locations, we will be serving an optional lunch during check-in on Sunday, 1-2:30pm. Apologies, this option is not available for Natchez Trace. Lunch is open to ALL members of your family – parents, campers, siblings, others – so please select meals for everyone in your party. We hope that this will give families a better opportunity to socialize with each other and also a chance to sit down and take a break for those who are driving hours and hours to get here. If you are interested in purchasing a lunch, please indicate your choices on the Session Options portion of the registration. Parents of multiple campers can place lunch orders for the entire family on registration, if you wish.
Once cabin groupings are full, campers will have the option of joining the waitlist. It costs nothing to join the waitlist, and we will contact you if and when a space opens. When that happens, you will need to submit the $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your camper’s spot and registration will continue as outline above at that point.
Once you complete the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email. That email will have a link to your account in the blue sidebar on the right. From there you can manage your account, including submitting additional required forms (health information, physical, pickup forms), checking deadlines and your balance, and making payments.
